Etruscan Style Hand Carved Shell Cameo Brooch
Brooch setting is goldtone metal and has a design in black. The cameo sits 1/8 inch above the setting and is prong set. The brooch measures 1 3/8 X 1 inch and the cameo is 1 X 3/4 inch. The cameo is hand carved shell and the condition is very good.

Lava Zeus Cameo Brooch
Exquisite carving on this lava cameo shows the face of Zeus in high relief.
The cameo brooch measures 3/4 inch x 7/8 inch and is 3/8 inch deep set in a GF mounting.
The end of the nose has a very small chip but doesn't show unless you look at it under a loupe. The overall condition of the brooch is very good.

Coral Cameo Brooch with Pearls 10K
Small victorian pin has a 10mm center cameo of hand carved coral. There are 4 grey pearls set at the compas points and the mounting is stamped "PR ST. CO 10K". The overall measurements are 3/4" x 1 1/4" and it has an old "C" clasp.

Goddess Dianna Cameo with Bow and Arrows
Cameo is set in a gold filled twist frame and measures 1 3/8" x 1". The carving of Goddess Dianna has wonderful detail in the hair and dress. There is a crescent moon at the top of her head and she has a bow on her right shoulder and quiver with arrows on her left shoulder. The condition is very good with no cracks, chips or stress lines.

Cameo Brooch of HERCULES with Lion Pelt 14K
MUSEUM QUALITY CAMEO: Hand carved shell cameo depicts HERCULES with the lion pelt on his head. In mythology HERCULES killed the lion and then wore the pelt for all to see. Look at the hair area to see the head of the lion. The mouth is near the ear of HERCULES, the eyes and nose are at the top of the head. What looks like long hair is actually the lion mane. Ther person who carved this cameo had an outstanding imagination and exceptional carving skills. The cameo has recently been set in a 14K yellow gold mounting. The pin measures 2 inches x 1 1/2 inches and is signed on the back by the carver. The condition of the brooch is excellent.

wonderful hand carved cameo facing left has very high relief in the bust and hair. The mounting tests 10k and has the old "C" clasp. This cameo is unusual because the carver used the natural rise of the cameo to make the hair and bust 3-D. The pin measures 1 1/4" x 1" and the condition is very good.

Wonderful old hand carved shell cameo brooch measures 1 3/4 inches x 2 3/8 inches the mounting is approximately 1/4 inches deep & is gold filled. The profile is more tailored without flowers. The lady has a long twist curl hanging across her shoulder to the front of her neck. The condition is very good.

White Lava Bacchantes Cameo
Hand carved white lava cameo is in high relief and can be worn as either a pin or pendant. The cameo measures 1 5/8" x 1 3/8" and the relief is 1/4". The profile has great detail in carving of grape leaves and grapes in her hair. She is also wearing a necklace and each bead is detailed. The condition is very good.
