Brooch has a goldtone frame set with clear glass that is faceted on the sides. The center shows a womans profile in gold. The profile has been carved into the glass from the back (intaglio) and then painted with gold.
The brooch measures 1 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches and has a safety clasp. The intaglio is prong set and the condition is very good. |
