ABOUT THE AUTHOR: KATERINA MUSETTI
Katerina Musetti is an award winning artist, published author and Opera singer. Her love for Juliana jewelry began in Milano, Italy when her voice teacher the late Renata Tebaldi introduced her to the cameo suites and Juliana pieces that are used in the great Opera houses around the world. Today, between her performance schedule, she resides as Artist in Residence at Seton Hill Univeristy and Director of the Opera program. Her work has been featured in many publications including A Passion for Purses by Schiffer Publishing, The Best of Pennsylvania Artists, Adapting Quilt Patterns to Polymer Clay, Belle Armoire Magazine, Haute Handbags, Polymer Cafe, and The Best of America's Artists, to name a few. Her award winning handmade Opera purses and bead-embroidery collars are featured and sold in Museums and Galleries throughout the United States. Her work is influenced by her love for the extravagant designs found in D&E Juliana jewelry.
